To date, his attorney Ross Garber has submitted two invoices, totaling $99,000. Garber began representing Dobelle after Team 5 Investigates first exposed his questionable spending in August.
Dobelle’s spending is the currently subject of two state investigations, one by the office of the Inspector General, another by the office of the attorney general.
The former president admitted violating policy by using the university’s credit card for personal use, but claimed it was standard practice and all charges were later reimbursed.
