We want your tick pictures! Send us a photo of any ticks you discover on your pet, on you, or elsewhere with the date and location. We'll ask Tom Mather, aka "The TickGuy", at the University of Rhode Island to identify it. Mather runs the TickEncounter Resource Center at URI, which monitors tick population trends and disease risk. Its TickSpotters program helps people assess how risky a tick bite on themselves or their pets might be, and will confirm the identity of a tick people send in. TickSpotters submissions help track tick trends across America.
